Couch was worn out. Springs creaked loudly when sitting down. One table lamp was rusted. The tv remote was a generic universal remote that didn’t really work with the tv and made it hard to watch. Comically, the tv was mounted crookedly. Despite being several floors up, all the pedestrian noise from the driveway and parking lot were loud enough to wake me up for an hour at 3AM. Custodial staff came repeatedly in a short period of time despite letting them know politely that we were still packing up to leave. Good points: comfortable bed, new shower, friendly front desk staff and free parking.

We loved the overall aesthetics and decor but the suite futon was uncomfortable to sit on and the bottom of the bathroom door wood was peeling back and looked unsightly. The bell hop and bar staff were professional but the front desk staff were not as professional or as friendly as one might expect for a “four-star” hotel. Honestly, the price for an overnight stay during the Halloween weekend was quite steep for what you get. Quite the opposite experience when we stayed at Hotel 21c a few months ago. I gave an overall barely 4 stars just because it was so centrally located and walkable to everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast was decent but nothing special.
